They grow up so fast!

birthday!

Erin is two. I can't believe it! She had a great birthday, in spite of teething (that just seems wrong!).

The two of us went out to breakfast at Whole Foods yesterday morning before I dropped her at school.



Then David, Rory and I showed up for her snack time in the afternoon with scones, whipped cream and berries (big hit among the two-year-old set!) and then took Erin for pizza where she was introduced to some classic video games like Frogger and Pole
Position.





After dinner, we drove home listening to ABBA (Erin's choice) and then opened presents. She got a full size Radio Flyer wagon from my parents, a toy piano, a stuffed frog and, perhaps the biggest hit, a copy of Lllama Llama Red Pajama from baby sister Rory. I wish I had the camera on her when she opened that one and cried out "Llama!". This is a book at her daycare so she's familiar with it. During the first reading, she acted out each and every page with enthusiasm.





There was simply too much celebrating yesterday to add cupcakes to the mix so Erin had her strawberry cupcake for breakfast (after some healthy yogurt).
